Unusual, but Refreshing Scrub
I enjoyed this cocoa coffee scrub. Very rich and luxurious feel on the skin, leaves you feeling refreshed and super silky smooth. Love the feel and smell of this scrub!
Take your bath or shower to the next level
If your bath or shower is missing something, this might be it! This scrub is so nice and cozy. It smells amazing, like a cup of hot cocoa. It has great grains for exfoliation, there's different sizes to make sure your skin gets the best exfoliation. The mask in it is great to keep your skin soft and smooth too. For the ultimate treatment put a thick cream on after this and your skin will glow!
Coarser (salt based) body scrub that is effective
First of all, this is a salt scrub and not a sugar scrub. Salt and sugar have very different qualities. As someone who has tried many body and face scrubs: from sugar and salt to ground almond, from speciality stores to drug stores to homemade, this scrub performs well. It is a coarser scrub due to the salt. I was a little nervous about rinsing it down the drain in my tub, but I was glad to find that the coffee bean and cacao (listed in the ingredients) are incredibly fine and it is only the salt that is the rough material, so it dissolves and rinses away just fine. Because of the natural ingredients, there’s separation, but it can easily be mixed prior to use. I took a photo to show where the ingredients are located on the container. It was a little messy since the scrub is dark brown - it looks exactly like the product pictures. It leaves skin smelling slightly like pure dark chocolate. I scrubbed one arm and not the other to compare and it really gets rid of bumps and uneven skin texture. It was not irritating or too rough, it felt nice. Some sugar scrubs just dissolve quickly and are too greasy, but because these salt crystals are more coarse, they do scrub (hate to use the word scratch) away excess stuff on the skin’s surface. When mixed, it also was not too greasy and did not cause my tub to be left oily after showering off the scrub. I’m interested in seeing how this continues to improve my skin with continued use.
luxurious and delicious smelling
I have used a couple of body scrubs from 100% pure in the past and I have really enjoyed them. I think my favorite one have been the vanilla and citrus ones. This coffee scrub smells amazing in the shower, especially in the morning. It really wakes the senses up. It is thick and a little bit goes a long way. The one thing about this coffee scrub that I do not entirely love is that the coffee granules in my opinion are a little bit too big. Their sugar scrubs are more gentle on the skin. If your have sensitive skin these might be a bit toot rough for you but it is worth giving it a try if you love the scent of coffee and if you apply it light handedly. The ingredients in this coffee scrub are pure and non toxic just like everything els that 100% pure makes. I also think this mask would of been very nice in a glass container instead of plastic.
Good value but messy!
Glad I found this product but it definitely needs to be mixed before use! Make sure to clean the shower/tub after use because it will leave a mess behind if you're not careful with it. It's packaged really well so no leaks or anything. Smells great and leaves you feeling nice and clean!
Smells delicious!
This is a good scrub. It smells amazing and very chocolate-y! The scrub itself is a good texture. I wish it was a tad less runny but it isn't a big deal. The crushed coffee beans and sea salt give good scrub and the glycerin adds moisture. I will say that it does make a big mess. My shower looked so gross afterward. Thankfully I have a detachable shower head so I was able to easily spray around and clean things up because it was all over the place! Oh well. My skin felt soft and smooth and I'm obsessed with the scent so I'll continue to use it.
