Best for doing Henna Tattoos!
Love this Henna Powder! I do Henna Tattoos for events and this powder is perfect in terms of quality and price. I was surprised to find it was finely sifted (considering it is very in-expensive compared to other brands). I highly recommend buying it for practice and events!!
THE BEST HENNA EVER!!!
I have been using henna on my hair for over 25 years and this is hands down THE BEST I've ever encountered. It whips up into an incredibly smooth texture - which not only means that application is smoother and easier, but also that less is needed (especially good given I have waist length hair!). The final color effect is extremely vibrant and beautiful. I've used henna from Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and India - all have initially left my hair dry through the first washing, as well as required extensive rinsing and clean up due to grainy residue. This version left my hair smooth, considerably less dry and washed out cleanly with no residue. I am now a devoted fan and highly recommend this product to anyone using henna to color their hair. Be careful with this product - too much henna can turn your hair bright orange!! Be sure to have some Indigo on hand to counter the Henna if needed. I've been experimenting with mixing Indigo, Black Walnut and Henna powders, along with Neem and Fenugreek (for hair health) into hair dye concoctions. At first, I struggled, but am getting the balance right so that my hair turns out a nice healthy brown color (not too red, not too dark) with good gray coverage. Every individual will have to experiment to figure out the mixture that works best for their hair. Be patient, keep a record of the recipes used, the time left on your hair, and the subsequent results - and before you know it, you will figure out what works for you!! At 47 years old, my dark brown hair now has significant gray - my Dad was completely gray at 50 - and I'm seeing good results in gray coverage. Worse, because of my thyroid issues, my hair is thinning - and huge handfuls come out every time I dye my hair with a box of dye!! Yikes. I haven't used a store bought chemical dye in 3 months, and now nobody would ever know I'm using natural powders!! BEST OF ALL, MY HAIR IS SOFTER AND HEALTHIER THAN IT HAS BEEN IN YEARS!!
