I love this product! The strips hold the essential oils that I test for base, middle and top notes. I would recommend these test strips to friends and family...the strips are a great tool for anyone that does aromatherapy.
Just what I needed
I'm playing around with making homemade perfume. There are only so many pulse points on my body that I can use as testers. And all the scrubbing to try the next iteration was giving me a rash. I'm prone to a bit of OCD to begin with. It's not like I need encouragement.<br /><br />To the rescue (and validating my belief that everything in the universe can be found on either eBay or Amazon): these awesome little bits. Arrived in a timely manner, excellently priced and they never need to be scrubbed.<br /><br />I can add and meddle and muddle through a scent signature without worrying about the possibility of my family having me involuntarily committed for the constant scrubbing. They were starting to look at me oddly. Now I can focus the OCD constructively on creating the perfect scent. And the rashes and bleeding have stopped. Really, how much more can you expect?
Essential Tool for Perfume Creation
I decided to use natural EOs to create some perfumes. I didn't think I needed the fragrance strips but the more I read I was convinced to order some. Makes it so much easier to create a good end product.
Already repurchased
I test a lot of samples at home and already have repurchased this. Keep the scent for a long time, in many cases I can smell it days after initial spray/dip. The thicker area is plenty of space to write the name of the perfume.
Great for promoting aromatherapy products
I am a certified aromatherapist with my own business. These are a great way for my clients to try a product, and also a great way to promote a product. I have found this wholesale, but I like the fact I don't have to buy 5000 of these all at once.
Great "lazy" solution for testing scent combinations!
I know this is kind of a "lazy person" product to buy, but I decided I had better things to do than cut a bunch of fragrance strips for my essential oil smell tests lol.<br /><br />This is great when figuring out oil blends for perfumes or homemade beauty products, and will save you from wasting oils or having sketchy smelling oil blends in your products. I personally was trying to figure out the "true" smell of some of my more pungent oils (think Davana or Geranium bourbon...whoa...) and this was very helpful to let the drop of oil sit outside the bottle and "mature" over a small period of time. I've saved myself from sketchy perfume scent bases also by being able to test out the scents on different strips together before blending them and adding the vodka or carrier oil to my bottles.<br /><br />I highly recommend this as a quick and easy solution to those who don't have time to sit around cutting out lovely scent strips from your printer paper at home. However if you DO have the time...cutting out strips from printer paper would be quite largely cheaper than purchasing this pack. Be sure to factor in your "cost of labor" also however if this is for making homemade products...your time is worth money!
