Not too overpowering - smells like the forest
Came back to add a star to five - I just really like the scent of this Cedarwood a lot!<br /><br />I received a cedarwood and a peppermint and both are really nice essential oils for this price. At just under $7, they cost less than some essential oils I have, like my Marpac Snooze Button that I love.<br /><br />The cedarwood is not overly strong and smells a bit like the forest, which I like. Thereโs just enough scent to be pleasing but not overpowering. I find that with the peppermint scent as well. Theyโre delicately scented.<br /><br />I have a mister that uses pure essential oil without water, so the scents can be intense, but with this brand of essential oil, I can be in the same room and enjoy these essential oils.<br /><br />That said, I do wish they were just a little stronger, but thatโs a small negative.<br /><br />Theyโre nice oils for the price.
Very strong
I tried the Cedarwood Essential Oil from Sweetvally. The oil is so strong that I smelled it even before removing it from the box or breaking the seal on the bottle. The bottle is tiny but mighty, I guess!<br /><br />The oil almost pours out from the bottle, so be careful when adding this to a diffuser or anything else. I accidentally added too much to my diffuser the first time I tried it, because the oil dripped out so quickly.<br /><br />The cedarwood scent is very woodsy. I personally find the scent calming. I read it can also help keep insects away.<br /><br />The bottle says the extraction method is steam distilled, but does not say where the oil was distilled or anything regarding the country of origin.
