Not for thinner hair

I loved the idea of this product, but it is not easy to do yourself. With that said, I think some more practice will yield faster results. However, I had to use a large amount of gel/intense hairspray to hold my hair in the clip. I have typical fine, blonde hair and it wouldn't even hold in the little clips sections without gel (think prepping for a gymnastics competition where not a single hair will budge). To have the large clip stay in position, I put that section of hair in a ponytail holder first. The results looked awesome, but it was awful to get the hair products out afterward. Definitely made for thicker hair
