An unexpectedly good buy
I didn't have much as far as expectations about these pins. I have hardwood pins (some I love, some were disappointing), aircraft aluminum pins (very tough stuff), brass pins (mostly disappointing) lucite pins...<br /><br />These are my first acetate pins, and I was pleasantly surprised. I have long, thick, curly hair and can't sleep with it loose because 1. Tangles and 2. It gets caught under me. But hair pins usually are too rigid to comfortably sleep in.<br /><br />These pins have some flexibility to them, but stay rigid enough to easily hold my hair. One pin will hold; two are more secure.<br /><br />And they are flexible enough to sleep in. The marbled colors means I can mix and match most anything I wear. I was happy to add these to my hair pin line up, and I highly recommend them.
