it helps! my stylist always tells me my hair is too flat. i need to not part it on one side, to switch it up to break up the heaviness because my root is so used to being parted to one side. i never really liked doing that since i don't look right with my hair parted the opposite direction. i stumbled across this clip, sort of like a BUMP IT, it helps give my hair some volume starting from the root! I just leave it on for a bit after I get out of the shower and poof my hair has a bit of volume esp the front part of my hair where it is so flat. i love love love it!
Good for no heat curls

Very effective on damp hair. The amouny of space you can securely wrapp your haur around is 2.5 i inches and the diameter of the curler is 0.5 inches. I wish they actually came in a larger set though.
So cool for thin hair!
I have pretty thin hair, very fine so VOLUME is my quest. These help! Here's my method -<br /><br />After blow drying my hair about 1/2 way I put these in with some light volumizer and dry my roots the rest of the way.<br /><br />Definite lift that DEFINITELY lasts longer than without! It's kind of like a curler but stays put more.<br /><br />Definitely worth a try!

work great for me after I wash my hair, I have medium-thick straight hair
two is just a starting point
they're OK - the main thing is that you really can't do much with just two at a time - if you use one on each side, you end up with more of one little hill on each side. with two on one side you can get a bit more of a cascade volume fall, but then you have to stop and do them on the other side. at a minimum, two sets will get you some decent volume up front or whatever section you choose to use them - i think though i would probably prefer 6-8 to create a total up top volume look - 2-3 more sets of these. the next kind of issue is remembering to use them - i'm straightening my hair if i am drying it and you really have these in during that process because of the smoothing brush process that's part of that - so then i have to remember once i am done drying to go back and use these before i do any flat iron or curling things.<br /><br />to get some up top volume - they do kind of work - i would just suggest determining how much volume you prefer in terms of where all on the crown and order based on that - for me it's 2 on each side up front, then 2 more rows of one behind it.
