Very effective for thick curly hair.
I have naturally curly hair and I had a friend tell me about detangling brushes. I found this cheaper than Walmart has them. I have only been using them for about a week and have noticed a huge difference in the amount of hair coming out. It's hardly anything. The brushes work great on both wet and dry hair.
