Sublimate Very Nice! Decent Enough Quality To Sell To My Clients

I wasn't sure if these would sublimate as no other reviews had mentioned anything other then HTV and the exact type of material is not listed. I decided to give it a try and they turned out very nice!<br /><br />My method: Please note I am not an expert of any type-this is just what worked for me and my equipment-your heat press may be different-plan to have a few extras to allow you to develop a method for your own equipment. It took me 2 (using both sides) to get a design and method I was happy with.<br /><br />Prepress for 10 seconds at 375 degrees. Be sure to ALWAYS have blow out paper under and over PLUS a sheet between the sides of the ribbon. If you do not put the sheet between the ribbon it will meld together at the edges. Do not reuse blow out paper as you will end up with ghosting on your next sash-LOL I know from experience!<br /><br />I found it easiest to lay the sash out flat and tape it to the workspace after prepressing. I made sure to tape in the middle of each end so I'd have a guide to center my words. After taping design with heat tape-tape well DO NOT skimp as you may have to press 2 times due to the length of the sash and your design so tape good so it can move without ghosting images.<br /><br />Then I pressed each section for 35 seconds at medium pressure and 375 degrees. I allowed to cool flat and then rolled the sashes to prevent creases from returning.<br /><br />I am very pleased with them for the price. The material is a true white. the sewn end has one edge sewn to allow it to open and lay flat on the hip. While not the thickest material it is adequate for a sash. Packaging was exceptional! Each sash was packaged in it's own clear plastic sealed pouch THEN all those were packaged in a vacuumed sealed heavy pouch. There was no odors. Length was normal however as a plus size person (size 24) I could get it on but it rode up oddly on me and did not lay flattering. A suggestion for manufacturers is to make some longer plus size sashes as I'd surely buy them to offer my clients a range of inclusive sizes. I will order again without hesitation.
