they do the job
These have proven to be quite durable and with this quantity it will be quite a while before I have a need to order more. As my hair as grown I have been relying on scrunchies to keep it out of my face when exercising or doing yard work and decided I wanted to try something different. These are a perfect solution to switching things up. They have stayed in place during exercising which is a plus for me.
Can handle heavy hair, but tips and edges too sharp!
These are stand ins when I can't have metal in my hair for whatever reason. They flex more than I like, but they are plastic. I find the tips to be too sharp for comfort; I have to use caution when turning or pushing, so my buns aren't always as tight as needed for activity. Also, the teeth edges are sharp as well & cut my hair! I've had to sand down the edges, hence the 4 stars. More care toward finishing is needed. Recommend with reservations.
Big combs for curly hair
I need big combs like this because I have very thick curly hair. I love these combs except that the teeth break somewhat easily. You have to be careful with them.<br />But I'll get more of these in the future. They are easy to use, they stay put, and they are overall good.. Just be gentle
