I use these items for dying and highlighting my own hair. The ear covers, at first, it felt odd wearing them. Also,I didn't think they would stay on but, they did and after a bit, I had forgotten that I had them on.They did protect my ears from being dyed and I can reuse them. The cape has enough velcro to adjust to my neck very comfortably. I also like the fact that it''s not made of stiff material. I would of like the cape to be a little wider but, other then that, I am very pleased with this purchase.
