you can breath better not having a tight noose around your neck
If you wear a tie, unless your shirts have an elastic extended collar, you should have these. I have to wear a tie to work and these buttons allow your neck line to extend, you can breath better not having a tight noose around your neck. I won't wear a tie without these, just can't do it. This is a great invention actually.

I used a couple of these last week on a long sleeve shirt but not the collar. Rather I used them on the cuffs. It is hard for me to button cuffs and I can put these on and just rung my hand through. Pretty nifty!!
