Bought this last month. Does take a few tries to get it right. My 7 year old granddaughter took to this like a duck in water. She loves the ability to do it herself and she likes the "messy bun" she can create. I have fine straight hair and she has very curly hair. First weekend of use during a camping trip and we were in the water a lot and the product held our hair and did well in the water.

I love these little suckers!! They are so easy for a hairstyle that looks like you spent an hour, but it really only took 30 seconds! It takes a little getting used to with layered hair, but once you get the hang of it you can snap it right up and go!
