Pros- gorgeous curls<br /> โขall day hold (our hair is still pretty curly and voluminous even after brushing it out before bed, sleeping on it, then brushing again in the morning)<br />โขsuper easy to remove<br />โขmakes getting ready in the morning faster<br /><br />Cons-<br />โขcan be a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but not too bad. Took me 45-60 minutes to do my daughters hair the first time. I recommend watching a YouTube video, itโs easier to see it done then read a description, in my opinion anyways.<br /><br />โขuncomfortable to sleep on, I found if I parted them to either sides of my head and slept on my back it wasnโt too bad<br /><br />TIPS-<br />โขdo it with wet hair or at least damp hair! When itโs dry itโs VERY difficult!<br /><br />โขtwist the hair before you hook it with the little tool they provide. If you have very thick hair let go of the twist AFTER you have it in the hook but BEFORE you attempt to pull it through the curler<br /><br />โขdonโt use too thick of a piece of hair, it wonโt go through and hurts like a mother.<br /><br />โข use some kind of product that offers some moisture for frizz control and a light hold. I used the Aussie magic curl mousse and mine and my daughters curls were super shiny and had a light hold to them. They were still soft enough to style the way I wanted, and then I went over it with hairspray when done.<br /><br />โขThe pink curlers go in the same direction and the purple and blue curlers go in the same direction. So if you like to alternate or have one side of your head go one way and the other side another youโll need to pay attention to their colors!<br /><br />Overall very happy with these, my only real complaint is being uncomfortable to sleep in. I would still recommend and Iโll still use them again for special occasions/ holidays and what not.
