This is great gift item with collectible tin.
The true scent of 4711 in a charming package
Granted that I am fond of tin boxes. Knowing that one day they might not be made any more, I like to have them around because they are practical to store things in boxes with far more character than plain plastic containers. Yet, I purchased this combination hoping that I would get the original scent of 4711, since I have been disappointed of the product that I have been buying in larger flasks because the fragrance was 'diluted, to say the least. I guess that is why they are sold as 'splash'. I like to use the the 4711 as an after shave because it's subtle yet at the same time stays around during the whole day. The splash, on the other hand, was gone in less than a half an hour, no matter how much you'd splash on your face. I am glad to be able to find the genuine 4711 again. The tin box is an added bonus, and it will also stay around for a long time.

I researched eau de colognes and perfumes thoroughly by reading readers' comments and came up with 4711, which turned out to be an excellent choice for a gift. It is good for both men and women, has a light pleasing scent, and is especially good for summer or sub-tropical climes because of its refreshing qualities. Highly recommend.
