These banna combs are great they kept my hair in place but if you have thick hair and long hair make two or three pony tails and then put the comb on , it works for me with two i love these combs I got the review from amazon and the person was correct they are great you will love them too , so try the ponytails if you have thick long hair or the comb is find by itself, without the ponytail o yes the ponytail holder must be thin like a rubber band that will not take out hair not a thick ponytail holder ok so Remember no thick ponytail holder Great Luck to any of you who purchase these combs .
