They are just as pictured. So far so good. I haven't sent them through the washer very many times yet but they seem sturdy. I like the snap closure. Velcro wares out fast. They would not be good for wet or messy work. Not water proof.

These are the best capes for your money I own a salon and we bought over 100 of these capes in March of 2020. We wash these capes everyday after each use. The have held up over a year now through many cuts, colors and perms. I have no problems with them getting wet under the cape because I always use a towel over my client ench and shoulders. What does get damp dries really fast as Iโm blowdrying my clients hair. I think this is one of my best Covid purchases!
