I bought this to replace a different oil cleanser that went out of stock and I’m really happy with the product. It removes eye makeup, including mascara, and my foundation. It has a refreshing citrus scent that’s mild and not overwhelming. I like that it only uses clean, natural ingredients. I have sensitive skin and this felt nice on my skin—and didn’t cause a reaction like so many products out there do.
Great two-in-one makeup remover & cleanser
I love this cleanser. It’s a great one-stop-shop to remove makeup and wash my face. The oil removes liquid eyeliner and mascara, along with foundation. It leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh—and the best part is I don’t need a second cleanser to remove that oily makeup remover feeling I get with other products. The smell is mild, and though I have sensitive skin, this oil to foam cleanser is safe and gentle.
Mild yet powerful cleansing oil
This is what I use as the first step to my night time skin care routine. It is a gentle yet powerful cleansing oil that effectively removes layers of sunscreen, waterproof mascara, liquid eyeliner, liquid glitter eyeshadow, and eyebrow pomade at once. I haven’t tried this with liquid foundation yet, so I cannot say much about it’s ability to remove a full-face make-up.<br /><br />What I love about it is the texture. It is not a watery nor a heavy type of cleansing oil. It is rather lightweight that easily glides onto the skin for a gentle massage. Two pumps of this cleansing oil is enough to cleanse my entire face thoroughly without leaving any traces of waterproof make-up and sunscreen. It also doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky residue.<br /><br />On its own, it is a hydrating and refreshing cleanser. I have an oily skin, so I love how I feel very refreshed after using this; it helps remove excess oil and unclog my pores. I noticed that my nose where I have the most blackheads is clearer than before.<br /><br />Rather than using cleansing wipes, I have always used cleansing oils and balms because these truly remove make-up and sunscreen. I also love that cleansing oils and balms are environmentally-friendly without leaving any wastes. However, not all cleansing oils and balms are created equal. I feel that this A24 cleansing oil is very luxurious due to its premium ingredients. It is the only cleansing oil that I have tried that can be used on its own without a second or follow-up foam/gel cleanser.<br /><br />I strongly recommend this product to anyone in need of a cleansing oil for hydration and thorough removal of make-up and sunscreen.
Very mild and worked out great for my oily sensitive skin.
I requested this cleansing oil due to its claim on natural ingredients (99.75%).<br />First of all, I have an oily combination skin type that gets sensitive depending on my hormonal cycle. So naturally I have been hesitant to use any oil type skin care products on my face.<br />But I have learned that using an oily skin cleanser will not produce more oil on your skin, instead, a good oil cleanser is designed to balance and remove everything but skin's moisture.<br />So I have been searching for one to try out. Since this one is my first cleansing oil, I don’t have any experience with other cleansing oils to compare this with. So my impression about this is as a general cleansing product whether oil or otherwise.<br />The bottom line is that I liked how it worked on removing make-ups and how my skin felt afterwards. It didn’t feel heavy on my oily skin and felt soft and clean after washing my face following this.
Highly effective
My wife says this makeup remover is one of the most effective she's used. Her initial impression was that it might be something that she wouldn't want to continue using because it's extremely oily. She was worried it would leave an oily residue on her skin after using it. However, despite going on very oily, it leaves no nasty residue and washes away quickly and easily, taking makeup off with it. She says her skin feels pleasant and cleansed after using this, and it's far less harsh than many chemical makeup removers.
Softens skin, it's not greasy.
I am using this because of the deep cleaning claim and not to remove makeup. I live in the mountains where it is windy and dry, and I have mild eczema so I am always battling dry skin. I really had my doubts that an oil based product could clean my skin... well, I just discovered that yes it can! I am probably not using it as directed, as I like to wet wash my face while I am in the shower. Standing over my bathroom sink just makes too much of a mess. When it first lathers up it sort of has a smell like citronella, which I am not fond of, but I found that smell to quickly dissipate, and end up smelling quite nice and fresh, and not greasy. My skin feels soft and clean after using this product. It it was a larger bottle i might use it up on the rest of my dry skin body, if it wasn't so costly! (Sorry, TMI!)
Great cleanser
This is a gentle cleanser for all face types. I have oily skin and I can use this product without it making my face oiler. It feels like it really cleans my skin as though it’s really getting into the pores. I don’t have to wash my face twice to remove all dirt from it.
This Makeup Remover Really Works!
This A24 Cleansing Oil really works! I usually use baby oil to remove makeup, but this A24 Cleansing Oil<br />was even more effective! Like the baby oil, it is hypoallergenic. However, this cleansing oil does not contain mineral oil, a petroleum product. Instead, it contains USDA-approved organic Aloe Vera leaf juice. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Shea, Safflower oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, Argan oil, Macadamia seed oil, olive oil, marigold, green tea, chamomile, horsetail, acai, lavender, ginseng, rosemary, sage, comfrey, nettle, quinoa, orange peel oil and grapefruit peel oil. All good things! And no water is added.<br /><br />This wonderfully effective oil is also great because of the ingredients it does not contain! There are no parabens, silicones, phthalates, alcohol or artificial colors or fragrances.<br /><br />This awesome makeup remover is made in the United States.
