Nice filter
I bought one from a HVAC guy in our area once and he came out and put it in. The charge was pretty nice for the filter and the service. I got the part number and found this filter on Amazon and it matched up. I got the filter and it was the same and I could put it in myself just fine. We used the filter all year and it seemed to do the job just the same as the one we bought from the HVAC guy. I saved money buying it through Amazon and putting it in myself. So yes, I am happy.
Exactly what I needed
I can't find these filters at any retail stores and the HVAC dealers charge twice as much as this seller so I am very satisfied.
It Puts the Filter In the Furnace
Tedious installation involves fitting each of the many pleats of the accordion filter into the guides in the housing. Annoying, but a characteristic of the machine and not the medium. This is a filter, and it seems to work.
Fast shipping
Not the best price I've paid for this product but the shipping was fast. Can't get too excited about a furnace filter.
AC-1 filter has been improved
Normally, this filter is a pain to install due to the "accordian' style. They have improved this filter by installing a small cloth strip across the pleats. This strip will only allow the pleats to move a certain distance and makes the installation a snap.
general replacement filter
This AC-1 Merv 11 General replacement filter was easy to install & last for about 1 yr. before needing to be replaced. It also arriven in a timely manner.
