Spa like bath experience
I recently moved into a new home with a big master tub after having lived in a rental that didnโt have a bathtub! Gasp. I know it was torture for the two years that we lived there.<br /><br />On top of that I had a high risk pregnancy where I needed to avoid baths and then I had a csection so I need to heal completely before a bath.<br /><br />Fast forward to now, I can take a bathโฆ.FINALLY.<br />And I will be taking a righteous bath at that which meant bubbles, hot hot hot water, candles, and of course a bath pillow to fully relax.<br /><br />Hereโs the features I like about this pillow.<br />Price. Itโs affordable. I didnโt want to spend too much and there was no need. This was a good price.<br />Size. This will fit even the largest of heads. Some pillows are so small that itโs like, why even bother.<br />Comfort. The two section system allows for the placement to be right where the bathtub starts to curve up so that both your upper back, lower neck and head can utilize the pillow. This is flat and has a rise of about one and half inches which is just enough to get a nice cushion in between yourself and the bathtub.<br />Suction cups. These are powerful and I didnโt really even have to push down. They just want to stick almost immediately when placed in my bathtub. With five suction cups placed throughout the pillow thereโs no way this is going to slip.<br /><br />Overall this is a comfortable affordable pillow.<br /><br />I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
As advertised, and so far, good enough.
I normally prefer to buy items that last (as opposed to frequent buying and disposing/waste); yet by the nature, design and availability of bath pillows, it didn't look like I'd find such a product merely by paying more money. Having read a number of reviews about similar products (perhaps the same one under different marketing), I didn't expect to be wowed by this one. I'm also going to be very cautious about moving the pillow once the suction cups are set, as critics have complained (in similar products' reviews) of air leaks when the suction cups were pulled out of their holders.<br /><br />My package arrived quickly, and I used it the next day and a few times since. It is much as expected and advertised, a fairly basic PVC (or similar) inflatable, with good suction/adhesion to my over-sized jetted oval tub. So far so good. If it holds up under careful use, I'd call it a good buy at the $10 I paid.<br /><br />UPDATE 2016 Sept.: About 8 months after receiving it, he bath pillow is still intact; though it should be as it hasn't received rough handling. So I've upgraded it to 4 stars.
