Nice gift
Very nice little gift. My brother loves it and use it daily.
Great for the price, but nothing fancy.
The title pretty much says it all.<br /><br />It's a fine, basic, shaving brush kit. Nothing fancy but it does the job.<br /><br />It's great if you're not sure you'd like a brush and mug. If you don't after a few weeks, it's fine to toss. On the other hand, if you like it, you can buy a higher-priced one and keep this as a back-up or use it for travel.
Good brand
Everything you need to get started with double edged shaving. I hope Iโd changed from cartridge razors years ago. This kit came with an assortment of blades from different companies and it was amazing how different they shaved. This allowed me to decide which brand I preferred and then buy that brand in bulk.
Good bang for your buck
This is an inexpensive set, but it isn't cheap. You want to start shaving with a brush, this will work. If your a shaving snob, move on, this isn't the set for you.
Great inexpensive set.
The finish is nice for a inexpensive shave set. I have been using a safety razor for years. I wear a beard but trim my neck. I was just initially looking for a razor stand but have sensitive skin an thought I would like to try a brush. Works nicely, my skin has not been irritated, and I couldn't be happier with the shave. It is not heavy so I doubt it can take abuse.<br />Full disclosure I was offered $3 credit for the review.
Good package, mediocre brush
It was what I expect. Good for the price. I fit my murker 34c into the back behind the brush making it easy to store. The brush, however, was okay. It came with a horrible smell that went away after washing it multiple times and a few shave. The bristles were stiffer than I thought but I have never used a boars hair (if its wrong sorry I dont want to look it up) brush so I dont know if its normally like this. Also the first few times I used the brush the hairs come off and onto my face.
Basic kit
The kit is a basic one. Cleans up nicely but the badger hair falls out when soaping up. When the razor is on the stand it pushes the bowl of soap off the stand a bit.
