Affirm is the best skin product ever. I have been using it off and on for 15 years. I am 40 but I have the skin of a 29 year old. The product is very stong so I only use at night. if my skin starts to feel dry i use less of the product or alternate nights. For a while my chest was breaking out and bumpy. Once I started using Affirm again it's clear and less pigmented. Great for face, chest, neck and upper arms and back. Zaps blemishes too and over time cleans up dark spots, fine lines and improves the glow of your skin.

START WITH THE LOWEST STRENGTH _ WEAR IT ONLY AFTER SUN DOWN_WEAR A GOOD ANTIOXIDANT CREAM DURING DAY TIME_EXFOLIATE ONCE A WEEK<br /><br />So now that I have hollered at the top of my voice, what has the lotion done for me? Made my skin look like glass - from acne caused hyper-pigmentation, large pores due to poor diet, and just generally blah - especially when I remember to eat decently, drink water and sleep well.<br /><br />I have already been using an organic, olive oil-based cream mixed with Philosophy's Booster C powder, at day time. Adding retinol was the final piece (big piece) in the puzzle to regenerate my skin back to health. I exfoliate once a week with a in-shower rub-and-rinse kind of face exfoliator by Aveeno.<br /><br />So this is what the regimen does:<br />1. Retinol regenerates at night<br />2. Vitamin C in the booster C, calms the redness and peeling that retinol causes during day. In fact, I didn't see any peeling or redness until I forgot to use Vitamin C for three days. So in my case vitamin C is important.<br />3. Exfoliation removes the layers, retinol has already sloughed.<br /><br />Result: Skin at its best and looks like its under make-up.<br /><br />Now if only I can exercise, eat well and stay happy, I'm sure my skin will look like million bucks. But one step at a time.<br /><br />A tube lasts for ever (I have used it on face and neck area)<br /><br />Don't expect miracles. Just good science and some required patience.

I have been looking for something like this!
I am 24 and I am starting to see small signs of age due to my excessive tanning over the years. I had some small wrinkles and discoloration that bothered me. I starting using Afirm 1x because of the recommendation to start with the lowest dose of retinol; this was about two weeks ago and I am extremely pleased. My skin tone is more even than I've ever seen it, my fine lines have almost disappeared completely and my acne is in check (for once!). I have been staying out of the sun, as directed, and will continue to do so. I recommend this product to anyone looking to start an anti-aging treatment. As I get older, I will start to use the stronger formulas, and hopefully will have the same fantastic results.

I just finish my first tube..In conjunction to that, I just turned 38 years old.. I have the worst case of pregnancy mask for 10 years but my skin has no wrinkles..this product keeps my acne and wrinkles away.
It's a great alternative for Retin-A
In a word, this stuff works. It's a great alternative for Retin-A, if you can't tolerate the latter.<br /><br />1. You have to be patient, it takes two weeks to a month to work. During the "transitional" period you may peel or have more acne.<br />2. Start slow, especially if your skin is sensitive. Use it sparingly and every other/third night on clean, dry skin.<br />3. Use sunscreen everyday.<br /><br />You should have smoother, evener skin in two months. However it will not eliminate wrinkles, just will soften them. I have recommend this to friends/families and all had positive results.

I was skeptical about this product because I was not familiar with the brand name, but I wanted to try a retinol product. I noticed my skin looked clearer, smoother and somewhat brighter in a fairly short time. I will probably continue with this product and try the second stage formula next. Afirm Stage I did not irritate my skin.
