Bought this accidentally, but found something I love

I have dark melasma on either cheeks. I spent thousands so far on laser treatments that have not worked. I finally started using Triluma cream two weeks ago, which does work. Anyway, in the meantime, I have had difficulty covering the dark spots. You can see it breaking through under makeup I never had to use before (I've had really good skin all my life until the melasma). The only thing that finally worked was Estee Lauder's Double Wear maximum coverage that comes in a tube. I bought this accidentally, and found that this covers much better than the Double Wear (which is double the price). Part of the problem I've had with the Double Wear is that it dries very quickly, and dries into powder. The texture looked very different from where the foundation was covering my melasma to the rest of my face. This one, it seems seamless with the rest of my face, where I don't wear any makeup. It stays hydrated for most of the day, and touch up is super easy.

Works well but recommend using with liquid foundation

Tried for first time on decent aging skin to cover areas of light age spots on sides of cheeks. I use my regular foundation then tap this lightly on top, followed by light dusting of mineral powder so it looks smooth, bright, and lasts all day. But using only this as foundation rudely accentuated dryness on my skin’s surface and some light wrinkles. So it really matters how you apply it and a little goes a long way.
