Bought it because Purple....

And to my surprise it works great! I mostly got it because I'm working with lot of gel like products for my nails. I lot of the ones that came with my kits are cool and they work great, but I'm a fan of the more enclosed style lamp. It's a personal preference and I just feel like I'm able to keep more of the light in. Plus it's purple, and purple is life ;p<br /><br />I didn't really need one with this high of wattage, but even on the higher side the heat spikes have been very minimal and equal to that of the regular lower wattage. I am a little heavy handed with polish, so I still find most brands take about 60 seconds under the lamp (mostly Beetles, Modelones and Gelish). I use Drizzle lately for the base/top/matte no wipe coats, and I could probably go less than 60 seconds but I still go a full 60 and its fully cured. Polygels, I would say take about 60 seconds on each side with the lamp if your laying it on the normal/thin side. Even when I've messed up and laid it thicker it still only took about 60 on each side.<br /><br />I have used the lamp with both my hands and feet. I have very small feet (size 5 in Women's) and my foot fits very comfortably inside with plenty of space to still go. I also like that comes with a power adapter and not some usb like charger/plug. It's very lightweight and the bottom plate is easy to clean with regular nail polish if you get splatters of polish. I did get this lamp on a little bit of a steal, I think at time it was priced like 25 and I got for 16 with free 2 day shipping on Prime. If the price is right, I would def recommend this if you love purple and love lamp styles like this one.

Disappointed no instructions for timing

I bought this along with the “Beetles” polish. No instructions came with it & I have yet to figure out how to properly use the dryer. Very disappointing bc my daughter was so excited to get this but we can’t use it due to no instructions for timing. The lamp does get hot & I worry about doing it wrong or damaging her hands
