Replacement for Beautiful Curls?
Iโll answer that in question after I explain my experience:<br />I have been using Alaffia products for 7 years. I started with the Everyday Coconut line and it was good, but when I saw Beautiful Curls I switched. I used the Curly to Kinky for almost 3 years and then switched to Wavy to Curly. Both were amazing and I loved both formulas. I was so disappointed when I found out Alaffia discontinued the Beautiful Curls line and went directly to Alaffia to ask what to use instead. They told me Repair & Restore is the replacement. Based on reviews I was apprehensive, to say the least.<br />So is Repair & Restore a replacement? Laterally, definitely NOT! Based on my experience with Beautiful Curls I can honestly say that for some, Repair & Restore is going to be WAY too conditioning and may weigh down their hair, BUT that is if you use every product in the line at the same time, as they direct on the bottle.<br />I have found this shampoo to be AMAZING!! I wash my hair every other day and do not use the conditioner. If I were to use it I would once a week or every other week as I see it more as a mask than an every time after washing conditioner.<br />As for the smell, I donโt have any complaints. It smells as I expected because itโs Alaffia and not a phoofy perfumed chemical shampoo. I appreciate that.<br />Thanks Alaffia!!! Refreshing scent
I love how this smells, it doesn't moisturize as much as I was hoping for but when used in combo with my oil treatments it's not a big problem. Makes my scalp feel clean and healthy
Good ingredients! Strong smell.
I loved how soft and clean this product made my hair feel. I did not like the smell. I have an aversion to mint and this one has a strong spearmint smell that lingers. It does not lather, which did not bother me, but I feel like needs to be stated. Great ingredients and a great trustworthy company.
Smells nice
Very good product. I bought this one when I couldn't find the beautiful curls shampoo that the same company used to make. The bottle is smaller than the previous shampoo that I would buy. Doesn't seem quite as good of a deal as it used to be. This product works great and smells very nice but I wish it were a little bit more of a better value.
