I just received this item yesterday and have started using it today. The quality of the container and the liquid inside is very nice! I used it with my Clarisonic and the results were very good - not too much lather, but my face felt clean and soft afterwards. I hope to see some improvement with skin tone after a few weeks and if I do I'll update this review.<br /><br />BTW - I received this item at a discount for my honest opinion and feedback.
Great Smell!
What I love most about this face wash is the smell. Aloe is the first ingredient, and you can really smell it when you use it. It reminds me of stepping into a nice salon and having your hair washed, if that makes sense.<br />.<br />I bought this item because I have some odd little sun spots due to the medication I'm taking and well, it's summer time. So far, I am pleased with it. It lathers just slightly and washes off easily with water. I've used it for about a week now, so I'll be able to come back later and edit my review to see if it really helped with my sun spots..which aren't THAT BAD, so I'm certainly not expecting a miracle or anything.<br /><br />I also really like how it doesn't dry my face like other face washes tend to. I hate that "tight" feeling you get right after washing, and I don't have that with this.<br /><br />I received this product at a discount for my honest review.
Gentle and beautifully scented
Really loving this product so far. It's got a great, natural smell - it's a bit medicinal (think herbs), but I'm fond of that smell. Although the smell doesn't last long at all, it makes for a good experience. The bottle and pump is well made, as well. The pump doesn't dispense too much or too little for each use. I would say it has a medium lather, and 2/3 of a single pump covers my face quite well. Use a full pump if you really like your suds. It's gentle on your face and definitely does not dry you out like some other ones do.<br /><br />I am a 20 something with some freckles but no aging spots. I do, however, have very sensitive skin, so I thought to try this out. I was offered a chance to try this in exchange for my review, so I decided to take the dive. My skin has been more sensitive lately due to the summer sun, and this has been a nice switch up to my foaming cleanser. I work up a nice enough lather and rub my face VERY GENTLY (think fingertips), and message for 30-60 seconds. Been using this for almost a month and haven't noticed much change to my freckles, but this is a nice cleanser and looks damn fine on my bathroom counter heh. Definitely a nice gift to someone who wants to try going over to the all natural side. It feels luxurious and clean on my skin every time I wash my face.<br /><br />Also, this has no water in the ingredients, but instead has aloe. That's usually a good indicator of a good, luxurious product that doesn't waste ingredients on water. Your skin takes in other liquids a bit more easily, and it feels nice know that you're not getting a diluted formula, or that it doesn't need to be diluted to be gentle enough for your skin.<br /><br />As stated above in my review, I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Would I buy it again? No, not for myself. I feel my skincare needs and concerns are changing (acne due to aging?! :'( ). But I would for my mom. :)
