Ladies, buy this for your man!
I've been ordering nice beard products for my husband lately, and when I opened this bottle the scent smells soooo good. Not too overpowering but definitely masculine. It has a creamy moisturizing texture, and after use he told me this was the best beard wash I've gotten him thus far. I got the "Original" scent and it is perfect.
So refreshing and feels nice
This is such a great beard wash. It conditions well and smells nice. It arrived fast and was packaged well. I would definitely recommend.

Freshens beards. Not the best lather
The American Shaving Co Beard Wash with Original Scent - Cleanse, Refreshes and Conditions Men's Facial Hair - For Any Beard Length, Easily Lathers and Rinses, Infused with a Fresh Energizing Fragrance, 8 Oz-<br /><br />It does leave the beard feeling refreshed even though it doesn't have a great lather. The consistency of the wash is a bit thin. The color of the wash is a bit odd but after use, it does make the beard feel less tangled and messy. It does have a pleasant, non- overpowering scent. A small amount can do the entire beard, it does not take much, it spreads evenly. The scent does last a good many hours and the beard feels and looks much more tame. Overall a good product and glad they make an original scent.
More expensive than I'm used to but very nice.
Overall this is a great beard wash so far. Its' a little runny and doesn't lather into a foam much, but it goes in smooth, smells like pretty classic "man soap" stuff (I really do wish I could better explain it. It just smells like a pleasant, non-offensive, not super specific, made for men, body/hair cleaning soap.)<br /><br />After cleaning my beard with it it rinsed out fine leaving me feeling fresh. I usually follow up with beard oil after, but to get the full effect I did not the first time I washed with this. The next morning my beard was still pretty soft, the aroma was very muted and didn't overpower. It's there, it's just not announcing itself. I think to catch a wiff of it you'd have to be awkwardly close to someone's beard, in which case it might be a pleasant surprise?<br /><br />With beard oil afterwards is excellent. I usually get really bad beard dandruff (like legit looks like it's snowing on my shirt. I'm required to wear face masks at work and it causes me to have pretty unhappy under-beard skin.) This seems to be keeping it to a minimum with daily use.<br /><br />I do wish it were a little cheaper, but maybe that's the problem with my other beard washes that don't seem as nice: they're cheap. This one isn't. I am a fan so far.
Smells sooo good!
I love this beard wash so much! My husband uses it and says itโs nothing spectacular but oh I love the smell of it so much. I donโt think it makes his beard less wirey/curly but it definitely cleans and adds a great smell.<br /><br />Would purchase again actually and am curious about other scents they offer!
