I definitely like the design. It is a simple hairpin with a few beads dangling down for decoration. It isn't too heavy and does hold very well. However, the stick itself is not as thick as I expected. When I first used it I was slightly worried that I might just break it from trying to twist it around in my hair (I have thin/medium thickness, waist length hair). The beads up close will feel slightly plastic-like, however, from far away it does not look like that. I can definitely pair it with something as simple as a blouse for summer as a hair decoration or a nice dress for a fancier occasion.
