Great product and needs to be used with an Aveda full color spectrum product also. The mix ratio was 1:1. Took 20 minutes to mix products together. Took approximately 20 minutes to apply and leave on. used a blow dryer to help set the color even better. The results turned out to be as good if not better than having a professional color my hair. Aveda products are excellent. I have no gray hairs after using this product. Very happy with outcome and the seller shipped very fast. Ordered on a Friday and in my hands by Monday. Wow! 5 star transaction and product

Works, creates true color, and, my favorite hallmark of Aveda products, creates no irritation, IF used with the Aveda Color. I wouldn't go mixing brands with it. User Tip: 40 volume is better than 30 at covering white or gray.

I mixed catalyst volume 40 with full spectrum hair color. I look up the internet how to use. Aveda write specific direction to use catalyist and make the different colors with full spectrum. I did it myself then still find. No difficult !!! The quantity is a lot so I could use many times.
