Moisture , one of key factors in skin cancer prevention....

I had a very serious skin cancer on my face 12 yr ago, Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Luckily ,although the biopsy said my skin cancer was invasive, after surgery they could find not one abnormal cell. At first I was required to see the dermatologist every 3 mos, then every 6 mos and now yearly. At the time of my surgery I discovered Avon Moisture Cream and began using it daily. My dermatologist, who is affiliated with a university has asked me several times "Why hasn't your skin cancer ever returned over the years?" I explained my regimen of faithfully using a moisture cream enriched with vitamins and I believe this helped. My doctor admitted that a good moisturizer on the skin is a huge deterrent to skin cancer, he explained always keep your facial skin, especially, moist and supple. I had my yearly exam recently and no cancer.
