excellent product! love the natural ingredients. used for a week in hawaii, and my face never burned. it doesn't irritate my skin at all, and the smell is light. will buy again.

Skin Saver
I'm a big fan of Badger's Cocoa Butter Lip Balms, and this sunscreen did not disappoint. It glides on and smells great in the process, and definitely saved me from getting a sunburn on my face when I was on a trip. I didn't put any sunscreen on my shoulders or arms and got a horrible sunburn but my face remained fine! I would definitely recommend this, it feels lightweight yet moisturizing, and I didn't feel like I was using sunscreen at all. Since it's broad spectrum it might appear to have a whitish cast at first, but within seconds that disappears.

I have photosensitivity, so I use a lot of sunscreen. Because of that I have looked into safe brands. Badger is my favorite. However, I had been using their regular sunscreens on my body as well as my face, and realized maybe I should try this one that is specifically for the face. I'm glad I did.<br /><br />Zinc oxide is a safe sun screen ingredient. The downside is that it can leave a white-ish residue on your skin. I found with Badger's (and all brands using zinc oxide) this was true. I am very pale so it's not a huge issue to me. And I solved it best by exfoliating my face a few times a week (the white tint seems to grab more onto dry patches) and also after putting on the sun screen, I use that mineral powder makeup and I just tap on a little of that to get my regular looking skin color back. But with the regular badger sun screens, like most with zinc oxide, you really have to rub it into your skin. It sort of starts to "melt" a bit and smooth out, and on my body it's no big deal. But on my face, with sensitive skin, I like to rub it as little as possible.<br /><br />And that is where this facial sun screen lotion comes in perfect. It is easier to smooth onto your face. It is creamier and lighter in texture. There is a slight white-ish hue, especuially if you overdue it, but it seems less than when using the other bigger tubes of Badger sunscreen. And it feels nice on my skin and leaves if feeling soft afterwards.<br /><br />This is my first bottle of this lotion and I find the rose scent to be faint. I smell it just slightly, sort of mixed with a slight clean, herbal sort of scent. And it fades away soon enough. I saw other reviews state the rose smell was too heavy or smelt like a grandmother, so I am not sure who's bottle is the norm, or who got a bottle that is unusual. I hope I didn't get an old bottle. But it seems to be working as far as sun protection. i would love if it smelled a bit more like rose because I love roses and their scent. It is real rose. Badger does not use fake fragrance.<br /><br />This is now what I will be using on my face year long. (Unless they come out with a facial lotion with SPF 30, which would be great.)
AMAZING!
Makes your skin bright and beautiful. The smell is earthy and instantly relaxing and one of the best qualities of this product. It's very soft, therefore it applies to your skin like "butter." I fell in love with this product as soon as I used it the first time and that doesn't usually happen very often. A lot of products have amazing ratings and then can be very dissapointing but not with this one. This is definitely my new daily sunscreen lotion. The Badger company did a very good job with this product.
Badger Sunscreen
For the past many years, Badger is the only sunscreen I use as it is highly rated by the EWG (Environmental Working Group) that tests and rates all sunscreens.<br /><br />This purchase is the first time I have used the Damascus Rose scented version as I try to stay away from heavy fragrances; however, this is a very light, pleasant scent. This sunscreen also seems much smoother and creamier than the regular version which I appreciate since it goes on the face.<br /><br />I will not hesitate to buy this sunscreen again.
Fancy Sunscreen
This facial sunscreen has a great smell and blends very well, without leaving white streaks behind. It didn't make my face oily and I felt that it made my skin look more even toned. I would like it better if some of the antioxidants were higher up on the ingredients' list but not if it compromised the consistency. Overall, I'm pleased with this Badger product, I'm going to have check some of their other stuff out.
Lovely product
Love this Badger product. I used this as my everyday sunscreen for face and dรฉcolletรฉ. Blends in well and is non greasy. The scent is lovely, natural and light. I am VERY picky about anything I put on my face as I have sensitive skin - this product ticks all the boxes for a light, wearable, everyday sunscreen. Badger also makes a 20% Damascus Rose sunscreen. I am switching to that because it has a higher SPF yet feels even lighter on my face. Either way you can't go wrong with the Damascus Rose Face Sunscreen!
