Smells nice!
I purchased this soap a couple of weeks ago but waited until I used up the remaining bars of soap before I actually used this brand. I like it very much. It lathers up right away and does a nice job of cleaning. Has a very mild "fresh & clean" smell about it. Not cloying. Not perfume like!<br /><br />I'm 75 years old so I'm not too worried about my complexion but over time I will see if I notice anything different about myself. All in all quite satisfied with this brand of soap. We shall see how long it "lasts" before being used up. That will I suppose be the determining factor for how often I purchase this brand.
Great for acne!
I have been using this soap for almost a month and I use it almost daily on my face so it has lasted a long time. The first thing I have to say is that the smell is Ok, it smells fresh and clean but nothing incredible. The real magic to this soap is what it has done for my face. It is really drying so it is perfect for me since I usually have oily skin. It's great if you have sensitive skin (I have eczema and it never gave me a negative reaction). It really dried my face and I use it in the shower daily, just make sure to put a moisturizer after because it can over dry.
Gentle and clean
I've used this product for almost a week now. I've noticed my skin clearing up as I suffer from body acne. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Doesn't dry out my skin, leaves me smelling fresh for many hours after the shower. It's lightly scented, not overwhelming at all. I have received this product for free or discounted price.
Charcoal, not just for cooking
I love charcoal soap! It cleans my pores very well and leaves my skin feeling soft. It feels good getting out of the shower actually feeling cleaner. Now as it goes for my husband he isn't fond of change as many husbands are for their hygiene products. He uses Irish Spring soap and is very dedicated to it but, I asked him to try out this brand of charcoal soap and he liked it. Getting a like out of this man is ALOT! He said he was surprised it didn't smell "girly". I'd like to say it has a unisex smell to it. It isn't "girly" or "manly" and it does its sole purpose, it cleans you! Very satisfied with the size of the bars too. 5 stars hands down. Great for the whole family to use!<br /><br /> Many thanks and blessings!

I am kind of in love with this soap! Charcoal is definitely in there! The soap itself is not 100% natural. Not with the perfumey scent.<br /><br />Oddly enough it is the perfumey scent that draws me to the soap. It reminds me of a perfume that I remember having in the late 70's or early 80's. I have been racking my head for a week trying to place the scent. I just really love that scent!<br /><br />It is a very smooth although small bar of soap. It feels really good in my hands. It has a nice latger. Do not be alarmed by the color that will appear on your skin. The bamboo charcoal will make it look like you are smearing black dye on your skin. It is not dye and simply washes away.<br /><br />Overall my skin feels the same as it does with other more natural soaps. Soft and not dry. Yet not greasy feeling.<br /><br />I purchased this Phaii Bamboo Activated Charcoal soap in return for providing my honest and unbiased opinion.
