Leaves my skin soft and smooth, has a lovely scent too, reminds me of Sweetgrass :) Very light and absorbs quickly, not the tiniest bit greasy. VERY nice serum I would highly recommend to anyone!

The smell is amazing! As i'm aging I am trying everything I can to not go the "botox" route, I love how this smoothes easily underneath my moisturizer and foundation, no cracky makeup whatsoever! It has a nice tightening feeling with the tingle of most serums. I have Roseaca and I'm hoping to see it toned down a bit with further use. I noticed from other reviews that this can help that skin condition. Very Impressed!

My bottle came with a dropper instead of the pump as shown in the listing (not sure if the dropper is new or old packaging). This is a slightly viscous, cloudy serum that I put on clean, dry skin. As it absorbs, you can fell a slight tightening effect on your face. It's subtle but noticeable. I compare it to putting stockings on your legs. It just feels like things are being held in. I didn't notice any major wrinkles disappearing, but the lifting effect was pleasant. I had no problem applying moisturizers/makeup on top. There was no flaking or pilling and application of my makeup was smooth.<br /><br />I appreciate the inclusions of ingredients like Vitamin E, CoQ10, and Vitamin C. All of these are great for the skin and I Iike using them in my serums. I assume it's the bamboo extract that gives the tightening/lifting effect. Bamboo extract is very high in naturally occurring silica which helps build collagen and helps your body hold onto calcium which is suppose to result in a more elastic skin tone. I didn't find this serum particularly moisturizing, but my skin is dry and as mentioned, I can use moisturizer on top without any issues. Really nice serum and different from a lot of other things currently on the market. Glad I tried it!
Tackiness of the serum helps to keep skin more taut during the day
I am in my early 40s and have some wrinkles/fine lines under my eyes when I smile. I've used this bamboo serum for approximately 1 1/2 months now and wanted to give it a good try before writing my review. When I first started using it under and around my eyes, I wasn't consistent enough but I did notice some firming of the skin with each use. However, I was unsure if the tightening was a result of the tackiness of the serum or if it was really tightening the skin. I started using it on a daily basis for about 3 weeks now and I feel like this serum helps to keep the wrinkles from being more apparent due to the tackiness. Now, when I say tacky, I don't mean that it stays sticky or that it is like honey because it isn't. It actually has a smooth gel-like feel. Furthermore, it is a clear, odorless serum which dries in moments and it is no longer tacky but feels smooth. There is no flaking or reminiscence of the serum after it dries or even into the day and it can be covered with make-up easily. I do like that about it. I think the bamboo serum is nice for daily use because it is almost like the skin doesn't contract as tightly, showing slightly less wrinkles, but if you are looking for something to correct the issue, this is probably not it.
