Now I am officially ready for summer, and the adult beverages that go with it! The Bar Drink Mixer Set with Cocktail shaker 24 oz. Jigger and Mojito Muddler is a classy addition for your bar. I'm growing a big pot of mint on my back deck so we started with mojitos. The muddler made this so much easier to make the drinks. My method last year was to use a spoon and try to mash the mint against the side of the glass. Some of the group decided that Banana Cabanas were their drink of choice. Poured everything into the cocktail shaker and gave it a good shake. We were good to go and my guests were so impressed. Yes, I shared this link so they could purchase their very own set. Surprisingly much better than the average product I expected
I was looking to replace my old shaker that leaks when shaken. The shaker, itself, is a thick and high quality metal and the top fits on it and does not leak when shaken (the way it's supposed to). I invited a couple of girlfriends over and made Lychee-tinis for the first run. I don't normally use a jigger but I did for these. If you're looking for a sturdy cocktail shaker as a staple for your home bar or if you want to give a great gift, I highly recommend this mixer set.<br />By the way, Lychee-tinis are delicious. Here's the recipe if you'd like to try:<br />Fill shaker with ice (you may want to double or triple this recipe for more than one person).<br />1 jigger (1.5 oz...the large end of the jigger) vodka<br />1 jigger Lychee liqueur or syrup<br />Dash dry vermouth<br />Shake, pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lychee on a tooth pick.<br />Enjoy.<br />I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
