This cape works equally as well as a hair cutting cape as it does as a costume! I (jokingly) ran across the house with this as a cape when it arrived, and my son immediately commandeered it as his own.<br /><br />In all seriousness, this works quite well as a hair cutting cape and keeps the clippings from landing all over you when you are getting your hair cut. My wife typically cuts my hair wet, and I did notice a bit of moisture coming through this, but not enough to bother me. If you are looking for a salon caliber cape, plan on spending twice as much. At this price, this works great for my needs.
Works great for at-home haircuts
I think many of us are attempting to stay groomed at home during the Covid 19 pandemic including myself. Using a plastic bag around my body was no longer cutting it. So I got this barber cape to use for my 5 feet 10 inch body and it's been working well so far. It's much more comfortable around my neck. There's no edges that tickle me like crazy. The sheer material used doesn't attract much hair and can be blown off easily. It also covers my body way better than my old plastic garbage bag did.
Important tool to have for haircuts
Works as advertised. As someone who cut another personโs hair without this and got hair everywhere including the fabric of the chair the person was sitting in... I can tell you this is worth having. If youโre a newly minted quarantine hairstylist, get yourself one of these so you donโt get hair all over the personโs neck and back, clothes, etc.
Nice lightweight cape
Worked great... adjustable clips make it perfect for any size person. The lightweight fabric gave me the protection I needed with the ability to move my arms around while weaving my hair. Also needed to let the hair product dry so sat outside in the sun for 30 minutes for the developer to dry. Was very glad that it wasnโt heavy material.<br /><br />:) Recommend if you need to โDo It Yourself Hair Coloringโ during the Covid crisis.

Made of quality fabric. Must have for hair cutting.
This barberโs haircutting cape is sufficiently large for any individual. It is made of good quality fabric. The hairs do not get stuck in it. I feel that the mechanism to tie it around the neck could be improved.<br /><br />Other than that, it is a handy cape.
