Great for Sensitive Skin!
This is my first time trying out a Rose Clay Face mask. I have tried a few other types of clays but this one was pretty good and more moisturizing. There are different types of clays that all work great for your skin, and some better for certain skin types. Rose clay also known as pink clay can only be produced with the right weather conditions. The pink color comes from the iron oxides in the clay. Rose clay is more gentle and mild compared to other clays and are used more for sensitive or mature skin. If Benodite clay is too harsh, you might want to try this one. You can use this all over your body and even hair. The clay has many benefits such as reducing inflammation, clearing dead skin cells, tightens pores, fades skin spots, increases circulation, helps with collagen and elasticity of skin. This is the clay that would benefits those who have more dry prone skin. I notice my face looks brighter and fresh faced after. The Rose clay is not as drying as some of the other types of clay. The consistency of this clay is more grainy, maybe not mixed so well. I love the scent, that is floral. The clay mask has other ingredients also included which helps sooth and calm skin. It has Water, vegetable glycerin, coconut oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, rose clay, orange peel powder, organic sunflower oil, organic avocado oil, Shea oil, optiphen, calendula extract, grapefruit essential oil, yuzu essential oil. It is 8 oz.
I love this clay mud mask
I love this clay mud mask. I have normal skin which tends to dry using some clay mud masks but the truth is I love the way the absorb dirt and grease off my face. To combat this, I leave the mud mask on for five minutes instead of 10.<br /><br />This mud mask comes in an 8.8 oz. container for a great price and can be used sparingly to last a while. I was very surprised to see how well the clay mask spread over my face. This is great because it will last much longer. I had no bad reactions to the product and it has a very nice non-perfume like smell which I appreciate. Smells somewhat like grapefruit. I use a thin layer over my face and after a short time the effects of the mask were evident even when on I could feel it working recommend googling clay masks so you can see the benefits. Research shows that clay masks have many benefits. It stimulates and increases circulation, tightens sagging skin, refines enlarged pores, exfoliates by lifting dead skin cells and cleanses the skin like no other mask. After using this mud mask my face felt very soft, clean, fresh and more lively.<br /><br />I will be recommending this product to friends, family and co-workers and will continue to use it.

This Maywood Creek Essentials Rose Clay Mud Mask comes in a nice lightweight plastic jar with a shiny silver lid. The product label contains all the pertinent information, such as directions, ingredients (a lovely blend of natural skin-nurturing ingredients), company information, expiration date, which is about a year out, giving me plenty of time to finish this Rose Clay Mud Mask. Interestingly, the label says to โshake well before every use,โ but my mask is a soft solid. This mask has a different texture than I have seen before in a mask, perhaps due to the glycerin. I would say the scent is somewhat of a mix of light roses and (more so) citrus/grapefruit, best I can tell, which would be from the grapefruit and yuzi essential oils.<br /><br />I have used this mask several times and it is very gentle on my skin. It leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft and my pores are definitely less noticeable. It does not take much of this mask to cover, so this jar should last a good long time. The mask is not overly drying to my skin, although I do use a moisturizer after, which is usual with masks. I first wash my face, then hold a warm washcloth to it, to open my pores, after which I spread a layer of this mask all over my face and neck. I have been using this about every third day or, sometimes, every other day, with good results. This mask is interesting and different, as well as effective in purifying and cleansing my face and neck.
Love it, refreshing yummy, brightens and deep cleaned
This mask is pretty easy to put on, I like that it's ready to go and not in a powder form where I have to mix it with water etc..it smells delicious and also refreshing like citrus fruits but slightly sweet like pink grapefruit too, I smoothed it over my face and under my jaw (where I break out) and I have roscea across my cheeks that flares up, I left it on for 10 minutes then I took a very wet hot wash cloth and washes it off and noticed my skin looked less dull around my eyes and my redness was already reduced, so I've been using this almost daily, (I actually mix it with some of the detox charcoal one for a crazy good combo! Then I'll use a wet spinning brush to work it through, I do this before bed. I follow up with the moisturizer in the morning before my foundation
The difference in my fave is undeniable
Since buying this mask, I have to admit the difference in my skin is undeniable which kind of surprised me. In the beginning I had doubts about it. It's just so gentle and soft, it didn't feel like it was drawing out any impurities. It lacks that tight and dry feeling on your skin but I've come to love it. I've been using it once a week for a few months and nobody believes I'm 37! My skin is virtually flawless, not to mention there is so much product in the container!
Nice little spa treatment...
Used the product on my mature skin for the first time. The mask didn't get as tight as most masks but seems to have had the same effect which is nice. Goes on and off easy, always a plus. Nice smell, generous amount, four stars only because it was my first time using it.
