Thought there wouldn't be a difference between a beard comb and a regular one, boy was I wrong!
I bought this on a whim thinking it wouldn't be anything special, but I was wrong. This comb works really well with my medium length full beard. After applying beard oil, I use this brush and beard stays soft, managed and not itchy at all. The 'hatchet shaped' concave middle comfortably wraps around my jaw line. I keep it in my pocket at all times. Serious beard wearers, consider an item like this.

Larger than expected but worth the price
This is my first beard, or in my case, sparce beard accessory. I was expecting it to be about a comb size, but since it was double sided, it was much larger. But, the larger size of it makes it much more comfortable to hold and use on your beard and even your head. The beard bristles are about 3/4 of an inch at the corners, with it being slightly shorter in the middle. It has a fine comb on one side, and a more coarse comb on the other. Both sides feel really nice when you run it through your hair and onto your scalp. It has a wood smell to it, that's not overpowering. It also has some grooves on the side that I'm not sure what it's for. It does come in a leather carry case, but I find it's a bit too snug for the comb for everyday use. I only use it if I'm travelling. I paid under $5 for it, so it was well worth it. I just put it next to my computer and use it every so often and pray that my beard will someday fill in.
