I have been cutting my kids' hair for years. After trying these shears, I immediately threw away my old ones. They are a lot sharper. I haven't tired the thinning shears yet. This is certainly a good value.
Great quality hair scissors
I've been cutting my boys' hair for years. These scissors are great - very sharp, and they fit in my hand pretty well. I like the thinning shears. They really help tame cow licks and the scraggly Alfalfa hair. The storage pouch is a nice added plus.
Excellent hair shears set!
My wife has always done interim trims to her hair between salon visits and since the beginning of Covid she has been cutting my hair regularly. At first out of necessity because barbers were closed, and then because she frankly does a very nice job of it. Last November the handle on her favorite hair shears broke. I superglued it but it ended up breaking again so it was time for some new ones. I was just going to pick up a pair at a local general retailer and she told me I just didn't understand hair shears, they had to be very sharp and well put together or they won't cut hair nicely.<br /><br />So I saw this Bicrops hair cutting shear set and thought I'd try it out. These were her comments.<br />I was a curious how these would cut as when I took my first snips they didn't make that metal on metal shearing sound that my past hair shears have made, they are nearly silent. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they cut. They are very accurate whether it was a thick grouping of hair or just a few hairs and they are nicely balanced in my hand. The quality of the thinning shears is also very good. I'm very happy with the purchase and love the case that it comes with. It has snaps to keep the scissors in place so they don't move around and room for a comb as well.<br /><br />When I told her the set was well under $20 she didn't believe me. She guessed it was around twice the actual price Bicrops is asking, so I figure these are a pretty good deal.<br /><br />I also like that they have a click stopped tension adjustment nut to make fine and accurate adjustments to the blade engagement so they cut well but don't have unnecessary pressure making them wear faster and more tiring on the hand to operate. They really are buttery smooth while cutting very well.<br /><br />The finish is also really nice, bright and smooth with a little jewel on the adjusting screw, which is a nice touch.<br /><br />Overall an excellent set of hair cutting shears.
Sharp and easy to hold
These haircut scissors are very sharp and easy to use. I have used these to cut both my hair and my hubby's. They are comfortable to hold, and the size of the holes fit my fingers very well. I am also very pleased with the quality of these scissors. The blades are made of Japanese stainless steel and they are super sharp that I never needed to cut the same spot twice. More importantly, this set comes with a storage case to protect the scissors from damage. Highly recommend.

First of all this case is nice and worth the listed price on it's own! I have like 15 pairs of scissors and they're all dull so I figured I'd give these a try! I'm soo glad I did, I have nothing I dislike or don't love and I always have something I dislike usually lol. These have cute little blue gems and are really sharp and do a great job they're comfortable for my little hands and my chubby fingers! So excited to use them at work tommorrow!!! They have a nice weight to them I would expect to pay like $50+ for these atleast so I am blown away. I'm so glad I chose these!!
