Versache meets the "modern" market...

As the product is marketed for, it should only be used for casual affairs seeing as how while it is complex enough for formal affairs, it smells too much like something you'd wear with jeans as opposed to a suit and tie.<br /><br />As previously mentioned this product is slightly complex featuring sharp characteristics that designer brands typically have, as opposed to more mellow notes commonly thought to be the key success behind marketing casual-use perfumes. In that regard I think Versache lives up to its name with this product: they manage to deliver something highly creative, if not long lasting.<br /><br />It's extremely hard to define what the fragrance notes for this product are, I can only say that it is most certainly not velvety (not remotely), or musky as the designer would indicate. Instead it is extremely citrus and acidy... but this isn't to say it is too "sharp" for comfort.<br /><br />So wait, absolutely no "velvet" characteristic like the designer noted? Well the mellow aspect comes with the highly distinctive scent of a "jeans" which is released over time as you wear, it making the fragrance a bit more mellow and yet still remain within the world of "distinctive" (and narrowly escaping being called "pungent" - a term I used to describe L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake, a characteristic I find extremely negative). Being highly distinctive and sharp from the get-go, I'd say that this product is pretty easy to forget about a few weeks after using it... seeing as how there are fans of such heavily distinctive fragrances (who obviously do not mind a sharp nose at first), this product should certainly be sampled by such individuals.<br /><br />I like this product quite a bit so I'm going to give it a 4, hopefully encouraging others to try it. However as I previously noted it is easy to forget and I must admit that I do not wear it as frequently as I used to (I'd give it a 3 for a personal opinion if I could and a 4 for overall product quality and general appeal).
