Sparkly and smooth
I’ve never tried something particularly like this, though I have tried microdermabrasion with an at home machine. I have hormonal breakouts on my chin and some blackheads on and around my nose. I used a warm towel on my face for a few minutes to open up the pores. I started on my nose and you wouldn’t believe the crap that came out. Yucky yellow goo. I used it on the lowest setting and that was a fair amount of suction. Maybe after some normal use I will move up to a higher speed but to start that worked really well. My skin felt a lot softer and smoother after use. I like the different heads that come with it. I tried a few of them and they were all very different, so they'll definitely come in handy. The pore cleaner is easy to hold with the silicone handle. Easy to charge and easy to clean! I’m a big fan. This will definitely become part of my regular routine after a nice warm shower.
Pay attention to the directions.
A word of caution: if you have very sensitive or thin skin then this will leave marks for a day or so. My skin is very thin, so popping a pimple will leave a red mark for about a solid day normally. I still use this though, but I plan around work and social outings.<br /><br />OK, now, the directions will tell you which tips to use with which suction levels. Follow them. Certain tips are very painful with the wrong suction levels. I can use the broad tips on max suction for stubborn blackheads just fine, but the pinpoint tip on low is too much for me. Odd.<br /><br />Anyway, you are only reading this to see if it works. So, does it? YES! It actually does. I pulled all kinds of gross "stuff" off the filter inside that it sucked from my skin. I only used it around my nose to test it, as I have a bunch of those really tiny blackheads that look like freckles that I wanted to get rid of. One single treatment after washing my face with my normal acne routine and more than half the blackheads are gone. The empty pores are larger now though, and I can still see them but they look so much less noticeable than they were before.<br /><br />I found that using small circles worked best and hitting the same spot over and over again. Only one popped like you can see online, the rest didn't really look like anything special while I was using it, but afterwards my skin was definitely cleaner and the screen was no longer clean. So yes, it is doing something and makes a difference.<br /><br />I still use my regular acne routine to keep the oil at bay, but I am going to keep using this once a month to finish cleaning out all the pores. I only charge it every other use and even then it is not dead, I just don't want it to die while I am using it. Takes about an hour to charge. Comes with a nice little drawstring bag to hold everything in there and extra filters. I use alcohol wipes to clean them off and the tips as well. I folded up the instructions and shoved them in there too for reference.<br /><br />I would recommend this, but with caution. It WILL leave red marks so watch out. People with thin skin need to be really careful when you start out so that you don't look like a racoon for several days. If used correctly it will do it's job and you can cover any extra redness with some concealer just fine. Or at least, that is my experience.
