great sponges
very good deal for the amount of sponges you get. I kept some for myself and used others for gifts.
Invigorate collection?
I wanted to try the cleanse collection but was sent the invigorate collection instead. There are four sponges included in this collection, two of which I was able to use due to the type of skin I have.<br />The white circular sponge is the natural Konjac sponge. It's supposed to be a deep cleanser and exfoliator suitable for all skin types. It did a decent job and wasn't too abrasive.<br />The heart shaped green sponge is the Aloe Konjac sponge and is supposed to moisturize dry skin. I could feel something in it, but it was mild.<br />The pink heart shaped sponge is supposed to prevent sunburn as well as help sunburned skin. I wasn't willing to test this by leaving out my sunscreen application so I can't say how well it works.<br />The black circular sponge is good for oily skin which I don't have. Again I wasn't willing to test this one on my super dry skin.<br /><br />All four sponges have to be soaked in warm water for 2-3 minutes. They start off very hard but do soften up after squeezing them in the water after they soak. They don't foam and all have the same woodsy smell due to the natural fibers. They are all relatively small and fit completely in the palm of your hand. They are the perfect size for facial cleansing but not large enough for bathing IMO.<br /><br />My favorite is the pure natural sponge. I tried it on its own for a week and found I had just a few breakouts. So it does cleanse on its own. However, for a deep enough clean I did need to use my regular facial cleanser along with the sponge.<br /><br />Each sponge has a loop which makes hanging them to try very convenient. It's been about a month and the two sponges I use are showing some shrinkage and are getting more difficult to soften. I'll try to update when they become unusable to give an idea as to how much usage you can get out of them before replacing them.<br /><br />This item was sponsored to me by Bundle Monster in exchange for my honest review.
