I like using a serum of retinol
Typically, it takes months for any type of stretch mark cream to have an effect. However, the age of your stretch marks can also effect how long they take to fade. I recently developed quite a few stretch marks on my thighs and started immediately with treatment. I like using a serum of retinol, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C to help my skin repair and renew. However, when using retinol products, you also want to be sure to moisturize. Using a stretch mark cream in conjunction with the serum helps boost the effects and seal the ingredients to my skin. I feel like neither the cream or serum work as well on their own.<br /><br />After only about a week, I can already see lightening of the marks. I feel like this has more to do with the serum than the cream, since the serum is far more concentrated. However, the cream is essential for nourishing the skin and keeping everything well hydrated during healing. I like the apply the serum first, wait for it to dry, and then apply the cream. The cream is pretty thick and heavy, but when I wake up in the morning, itโs still there and doing its job. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
