Cool effect!

These polishes are so cool! But, before I get into the polishes themselves, I thought I would mention that they do take some time to arrive because they are shipped from China, but not to worry - I always receive my items from Born Pretty. I ordered the 3 color set to try, which, according to the picture, should include pink, purple, and green. When I received my package, I received pink, purple, and blue. I contacted Born Pretty and they responded immediately, telling me they will send out the green polish right away. Fantastic customer service!<br /><br />Now, for the polishes - these are not opaque polishes. They are toppers to be used over other colors to create a pearlescent effect. In my photographs, I swatched them by themselves, then over black and white polishes. Over white, they have the look of colorful cellophane wrap, which I think is a really cool effect! It's a nice way to jazz up a neutral mani without going overboard. Over black, wow! The color of the topper really pops! I admit that I was skeptical about these polishes, but after using them, I have to grab any colors that I am missing.
