This is my second order for the Vitamin C oil. I really like the way it makes my skin feel and look. My skin is clear and softer. This time I order two bottles so I don’t have to order for awhile. I only use two to three drops with my moisturizer and I like the results.

This oil is non-greasy, light texture and fast absorption but still "oil" feeling is there - meaning some heaviness / real slippery / coating feelings are there. But I like it, I was looking for VC oil (not the serum) for deep hydration and coating at the end. VC serum often is harsh and gone bad fast, in my past experience. This time, I store this oil in my refrigerator, and this small bottle has been lasting longer than I thought. (It's been more than 1 month since I started using it.) I use it for morning step 1 (right after washing my face), and night first step (right after washing my face), and final step mixing up with my night cream (Kiehl's Ultra Moisturizing Cream) to prevent my skin from aging - especially glycation and oxidation. The good about this oil is that I only need 1 drop for 1/2 face as it glides very well. I do not apply so much for some areas such as chin, lateral side of forehead and nose as they might get too oily.

I love this face oil. It makes my skin look excellent and I can use it in place of a moisturizer without my skin breaking out or having excess oil. I would definitely recommend this product above any salon or high-end brands of vitamin c oils. The price was excellent. My only complaints are the following: 1) I personally have to use a lot to cover my face (5-6 drops) because I don't use other moisturizers. This means the product runs out fairly quickly. 2) Because it is an oil, it takes a long time to soak into my skin. this makes it very difficult to use under makeup as it makes my makeup cake and seep into my wrinkles. It's not flattering. If you don't use much, this may not be as much of a problem.<br />The pros, for me, outweigh the cons, though. It makes my skin look great. With my combination skin, it does not make my skin overly oily, it makes my skin feel soft, look younger, and brighter.<br /><br />The vitamin C component in the oil (according to the label) is tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which according to my research is one of the "newer" forms of vitamin C for topical use. It has a "high" safety rating and is skin friendly because it is fat soluble and this makes it easier to absorb through the skin. It is suspended in other fruit oils that are traditionally good for the skin (red raspberry, like the other reviewer mentioned), preserving the integrity of the vitamin C (which spoils quickly in water). This makes the whole formulation skin-friendly and I see a significant difference in my skin after using it for only a few days. It is thick (it's made of true oils) but I highly recommend it.
