Highly recommend

Does a really nice job! I do notice that it does attract bugs/flys so keep that in mind because of the sent. It also leaves a very pale/light white cast on as well. For being a natural sunscreen, it’s worth all of that.

Great protection

This sunscreen is AMAZING! We haven't had a sunburn this summer. It doesn't seem to come off in the water, my only dislike is it can be kind of hard to apply when kids are dry since it istteally thick.

Love this stuff

So happy this product was available, I used to be able to get it at the local health food store but the store stopped carrying it. Hard to find a natural sunscreen that does not smell weird or feel greasy. It's a little pricey but worth the reduction in chemicals absorbed by my skin. It improves the look of my skin under my facial foundation makeup, too. My child won't wear it because it is ghost white and has to be rubbed in, as opposed to a roll on clear sunscreen, but I love it. I would recommend and will purchase again.

Do you have a higher aversion to sunburn or that gross white layer?

I read a ton of reviews on various biodegradable sunscreens before buying this one. I didn’t want one that left a gray or white film. This sunscreen works great. I applied once for a beach visit and didn’t get so much as a trace of a sunburn. But...I got burnt to a crisp the next day when I refused to use it. Why? Because it’s thick, impossible to rub in, and leaves a white residue. Not just a thin film, but a “This is gonna ruin my vacation pictures!” layer. I’d try to find a different sunscreen if that’s a problem for you.
