Ok, i will confess that I didn't know anything about natural terahertz stones. From online reserach; "The terahertz stone, an ore produced by extracting silica from sand or quartz was discovered by Japanese scientists a decade ago to have a terahertz vibration frequency which lies between that of microwaves and far infrared light on the electromagnetic spectrum with its frequency ranging from 0.1 to 30THz." Wow, right?<br />As for those interested in the metaphysical/energy aspect: "Terahertz stone is an excellent energy provider tool. This silver gemstone supplies you with a healthy and potent energy flow to be highly productive and efficient while performing tasks or working on goals that are requiring a high brainpower stream."<br />In terms of the 'paw' gua sha, this stone is smartly designed and well crafted. The silvery sheen is highly reflective, the polishing effecting a shiny, glossy and very smooth surface.<br />There is a small 'eye' hole, to allow a lanyard cord attachment. Personally, I would not use the provided lanyard, and store it, as is, in the provided drawstring pouch.<br />The natural terahertz stone gua sha is pristine, with nary a scratch or nick. The contour has very smooth rounded edges. It looks good and feels good in the hand. Whether you subscribe to the energy aspect, or impressed with the vibration aspect, the fact remains that it's a viable gua sha tool.<br />Attached are photos to show real world images of the natural terahertz stone gua sha, with a ruler for size reference. The gua sha actually look much better in real life.<br />At $13, this is a good value for a decent 'paw' gua sha. For a 'paw' gua sha with premium aspects, it's an excellent value.<br />Based on these observations and initial impressions, this gua sha earns a 5+ star rating, with a very high level recommendation. I am very happy to have this gua sha in my collection.
