awesome balm!
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. So far, this product is excellent. The smell is very good, a really light, sweet, not to overpowering-orange scent, and the balm distributes very nicely. Its a thinner balm, not super thick or super waxy. It did what it claims it does-tamed my wild hairs and gave it a nice, pliable hold without the beard being too stiff. The shine it gives doesn't look oily, it really just gives it a nice natural-looking sheen. What really caught my eye was the packaging, first impression is I want to say almost elegant, they put some thought into it. It came in a nice box sealed in a plastic film, and the tin itself has a screw-off top, and is ridged on the outside, looks sharp. Not that it has anything to do with the function of the product itself, just thought it was worth mentioning that they put some though into the design, its really nice! Overall, I'm really happy with this product, thank you again for the opportunity of letting me try it out and I'll be ordering more soon for sure!
I like the scent
Took some time to get use to the consistency vs an oil which I previously used. Does go on "stiffer" as it warms it dissolves and helps with irritation under your beard. Under my chin gets irritated and sore periodically. The balm did help clear this in a couple days. I like the scent.
Boyfriend loves it
Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend with a large beard. He really loves the smell and says it helps his beard keep its shape and look good throughout the day. Only downside is that if you apply too much or it is excessively hot/cold outside it sometimes clumps. I don't think it looks bad but it bothers him a bit.
