Way too expensive, but the only true French side combs available in the universe. Nothing on Ebay, so they are hard to find.

Except for cheap Goodys, can't find quality French combs anywhere else. Love these.
Did some research into Aliza Rose Accessories and found that they are the exclusive US distributor of these Charles J Wahba combs from France. They arrived on time and well-packaged to prevent damage in transit. They are a bit larger than cheap combs at other stores, if I can even find them, and are made of a more pliable material so they can flex without breaking. I cringed at paying so much for such a thing but figured I would send them back if I didn't like them. I won't say that the cost is justified but they are very nice combs and I am going to keep them. The tooth design holds my thick type 2C/3A hair very securely. I really have to push them in but they aren't going to fall out, no way! Gals with thinner hair may not have the same experience. If you're not familiar with the difficulty of finding good combs that do not hurt or break you may not appreciate them. I am considering ordering the ivory colored ones when I can get up the nerve to pay so much for them again.
Great for my fine hair!
Been trying to find replacement for decades-old side combs I bought in the 1980's that are no longer around. These are great!! They arrived today (I bought the bone/cream color set) & have been in my long, fine, straight hair for over 5 hours and I haven't had to re-comb them into my hair once! Combs I've bought/tried usually start to slip out of my hair (or my hair starts to come out of the combs) within an hour. These stay in nice & I can't imagine anyone with thick or curly hair getting these into their hair as it took some doing. I pull back the hair from each side of my face with a comb on each side. I'm back to order another pair! I couldn't be happier as I must have a drawer full of attempted replacement, 90% of which I can't use at all. All will go into the trash now!

I am letting my white hair grow longer..not easy. So these lovely combs help hold the strands in place and add a bit of flair! I am happy I got them. The color is ivory...hard to find on store shelves.
