For anyone with EXTREMELY curly hair like mine, this product works Fantastic. As soon I figured how to hold the brush, as well as my hair while pulling the brush through, it was a breeze. I had to hold my hair sections at the bottom as I pulled the brush through. For me it was easier to pull from the underside of my hair for most of the straightening...<br />I had been watching the commercials, and reading alot of reviews on all the brushes, but decided on this product...and I must say, I am extremely happy and highly recommend it for anyone with thick, curly hair.
Works on thin, fine hair!
Like other posters here, I was skeptical about this product, mostly because I have thin, fine hair. My hair wants to be curly underneath and is pretty straight on top, which drives me crazy. I figured for $25 I would try this and if it didn't work, I'd give it to one of my friends. Even as I took it out of the box and looked at it, I was still thinking, no way this is going to work on my hair. But, I am happy to report it works great! It really is just like brushing your hair straight! Love it!
So much faster for wavy and curly hair
I have been using this product for awhile, I really could not decide what i thought about it and I wanted to be able to provide a good review for others. At first, it takes some getting used to. We are all used to a flat iron which gets the job done but can take a really long time and I always seem to miss a spot in the back. With this straightening brush, I never miss a spot and I get the job done so much faster!!<br /><br />I used to have to blow dry my hair if I wanted to straighten it easily and without completely taking out all of the volume of my hair. My hair is medium in thickness, length is down to mid/lower back, and semi wavy. With that being said, I can now shower at night and let my hair air dry then style in the morning. I first take my straightening brush and in no time at all get every strand straight. It is difficult to get the ends, the brush will flip them a little bit, but sometimes i like that look. I do like the added shine I get from using a flat iron, so sometimes I go over my hair with that as well, but not always. Using this brush as taken away so many steps and I can tell that my hair really thanks me for taking away all of the extra heat.<br /><br />Overall, I really think this brush is awesome and I have raved about it to my mom. It has a digital screen that makes it easy to read and adjust. I love the lock feature so you do not accidently hit the up or down heat in the middle of using it. I also love love love love love that it turns itself off after an hour so that way I can never forget and leave it on all day long. As long as you brush your hair before hand it will not pull your hair any more than a normal brush. I also have found that i do not accidently burn myself as often. It does get hot but not where your hand goes or where the brush tips are. You can easily brush your hair line and not have to worry about burning yourself or creating ridiculous flyaways like a flat iron does. I am very happy with my purchase and if going on a vacation I just bring this straightening brush because it is so much easier and faster, i love it.<br /><br />I reviewed this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
