Definitely Intense Color!
These are exactly as labeled and the high intensity is just what I wanted. Finally, I have found intensely pigmented, saturated, non-sparkle, blush colors and it's nice to have the palette of four shades for the price! I also bought the collection #1 which is in cool pink tones, whereas this one is in warm, coral-based tones. The pigmentation and payoff is very strong and I will say you probably need to be adept at applying blush to use these on lighter skin tones. Darker skin tones should find these show up nicely and I don't see any indication they should show as ashy. I am very fair skinned, but I don't want a powder puff pink whisper and all that yucky shimmer on my cheeks because it doesn't look good on me. I find bright, clear, saturated tones work best on my translucent skin (that certainly took a while to figure out!). Naturally, I have to use a light hand applying them, but if anyone has trouble with that, might I suggest a fan brush and that you tap off excess before applying your blush. (You can also apply your blush before your foundation or powder, or tone the blush down with powder after applying. However, the fan brush is usually the only help you need for sheer application that's also buildable.) Anyway, these are really good quality blushes that have high color payoff and they are as bright as they appear in the online pictures. In fact, I had a difficult time getting the colors in my photo to be as true to life as the online photo, but I included it anyway. Basically, the far left and far right colors are not at all as dark as they appear in my photo (taken in indirect daylight in a white room) while the center two colors are more accurately portrayed.
